Remarkably our Summer Tanager is still here as of 12/13/25. She showed up in our yard on 11/27/25. We’ve been able to see her every day since. These birds are bee - eaters and will typically pick bees off near bee boxes in the summer. We do have bee boxes in our yard so we think she navigated to us because of that food source. However the bees are all huddled up and not offering anything now in the winter. Shes eating jelly, peanut pieces, bark butter bits and suet. 🥶💛#wbupalospark | Wild Bird
